Luminary Software provides due diligence services in the area of software-intensive systems. Due diligence is risk reduction. We can help you reduce the risk related to software that you are acquiring by evaluating:

• the quality of the software produced by a company that you are acquiring.

•         the degree to which software operates correctly
•         whether it can handle the volume of business you anticipate, and
•         the liability you may acquire along with the software.

We offer these services directly to a company that is in the process of acquiring software-based assets (liabilities). We also partner with other due diligence firms to offer a complete solution.

We have extensive experience in software design and development; however, we do not rely solely on this experience as a basis for opinions. Our opinions are based on quantitative measures of the software in question. We use metrics that have a clear relationship to the issues being investigated.
